Frugal Friends
Frugal Friends' volunteers meet with those facing an economic crisis to discuss budgeting and money saving tips and local resources available to them. They then request payment for a bill to alleviate the immediate crisis. In 2022, we kept 28 neighbors from likely eviction, paid utilities for 27, transportation costs for 12, and hotel expenses for 8 families.
