Birdies
The Birdies group is a partnership between Helping Hands and the Lincoln County Schools social workers to fill the needs of children in local schools. We provide lice kits and caps and gowns for students whose families would be burdened by the added expenses. We provide 100 filled Stockings and Easter Baskets to encourage middle and high school students chosen by these social workers. We address other family needs that are identified by these "Birdies". This program is funded through our First Thursday Lunch fundraiser.
