Ministry Staff
Senior Pastor
steve.autrey@denverumc.org
I have served as Denver’s Sr. Pastor since July of 2016. Over these years I am continuingly grateful for a church family that values Jesus, serves the community in transformational ways, and displays loving grace to all who we encounter. We also value humor, check out Ben and Billy’s profile for proof! My personal journey is intertwined with my wife Marcy whom I had the privilege of marrying in 2000. We have two amazing daughters, Elizabeth and Maggie and a giant German Shepherd named Zenny. I hope you will explore this website to get an idea of who we are and then come and see for yourself what God has in store for you at Denver United Methodist Church.
David Washco
Executive Pastor
David.Washco@denverumc.org
My wife Amy and family moved from Hickory, NC to Denver in 2017 and were “called” to Denver UMC. I have been blessed to live all over the country and am very happy to call Denver, NC “home.” Anyone who knows me, knows my priorities are clear, Faith, Family and giving it my all. God has honored my career through my high level of commitment and discipline - which has always revolved around leadership and mentoring. If I am not at home with my girls, then you will find me either at church, in the gym or training in the karate dojo. My life verse is: Gal.6:9
Carol Brown
Director of Outreach Ministries
Carol.Brown@denverumc.org
I grew up in Tennessee, with dreams of traveling around the world. After college I married Steve, an Army pilot, and got to do just that. We moved from Hawaii to Denver in 2005 with our boys, Mitch and Nate. Soon after, we joined DUMC and have loved getting to know longtime members and fellow transplants. This church is full of loving people who are constantly working to make life easier for others. I look forward to helping more of you connect with opportunities to serve here and around the world.

Billy Rose

In west Maiden, NC born and raised, on the sound board is where he spent most of his days. Chilling out, fishing, relaxing-all cool, and playing some guitar, outside of his school. Some SPRC guys, they wanted someone good, started making phone calls in my neighborhood. I got on DUMC staff and I started to care. They said "You're moving with the flow in DUMC air."
He's also been a member of DUMC for more than 9 years, and has been running sound since he was 8 years old. We are thankful to have Billy on staff!

Cameron Wilson
Business Administrator
Cameron.Wilson@denverumc.org
Originally from Raleigh, I ended up in the Denver area after bouncing from the eastern part of the state in Greenville, all the way over to the western part of the state near Asheville. My husband and I were married in 2009, soon after moving here to the foothills. We are in the process of working, raising two boys, sleeping, and repeating. Although I don’t have much free time these days, when I do get the chance, I like to sew, craft, and go thrift store shopping. I am an old soul who values traditions, family, country, and God.
