Steve Autrey

Steve has had the joy of serving this congregation since 2016, growing in faith, love, and grace alongside this church family. He and his wife, Marcy, are the proud parents of two amazing young women—and one extremely spoiled German Shepherd!

Steve grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina and still loves getting outside to hike or sit by a campfire. He holds a B.A. in History from UNC–Asheville and an M.Div. from Duke Divinity School, and is currently working toward a Doctor of Ministry degree, expected in May 2027. Still, the most formative lessons have come from thirty years of walking with congregations in ministry.

He looks forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and sharing in God’s work in our community and beyond.
