• Joy Marie Circle

  This month we will be collecting items for the residents of Lakewood Care Center. The Joy Marie Circle is a division of the United Methodist Women and is open to all ladies of the church. They meet the 3rd Monday of each month (except June - July) at the Callaway House, located one block from the church on Highway 16. The meetings consist of a a time of fellowship and a program. • Helping Hands Salad Luncheon

  Location: FLC Lobby

  Helping Hands Ministry open to anyone interested in community outreach projects. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month in room WAB 200 (Old Sanctuary). For information contact Carol Brown by email steveandcarolbrown@charter.net.

• 1st Thursday Lunch

  Thu Jun 7, 2012 11am to 1pm 

  First Thursday Lunch is held each month in the Family Life Center from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. All proceeds are used for projects and services within the community. The menu will consist of chicken pie, spaghetti pie, hot dogs with all the trimmings and some delicious desserts. Don’t forget to order pies to go also! Call the church office at 704-483-1601 to order pies.

• Family Faith Fest

  Free event open to everyone! Line dancing, Karaoke, Horse Rides, Petting Zoo, Inflatables, Cornhole, Sno Cones and much more. Rain or Shine! PBR Paster Todd Pierce, with Riding High Ministries will be the guest speaker. Pastor Todd will also be speaking at our 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services the following Sunday, June 10th.

• Vacation Bible Camp Begins

  "SKY" - Everything is possible with God (Mark 10:27). This passage will come alive as kids experience memorable change-their-lives Bible truths. Registration will begin May 1st. If your child attended last year, you will receive an email to register. A link from our website www.denverumc.org will be available for new registrants. Jennifer Ingalls is our coordinator for our Pre-K children and Kristen Edwards is our Elementary coordinator. Eveyone is invited to attend.
