Sunday School

We offer various classes for Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.  The classes vary in style and age.  Classes are available from birth to adult so check out a class this weekend.

Small Groups

Small Groups consist of many different things at Denver UMC.  A small group may mean a group of individuals who meet on a monthly basis to enjoy discipleship and fellowship, a short term Bible Study group, or a discipleship group that meets for a particular purpose.  As we grow, we want to become smaller in the sense that everyone feels a connection at some point.  Small Groups allow members to join together with others that they share something in common.  The place and time is flexible and up to each group.

This quarterly study (thirteen lessons) presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life. Adults move from a focus on the Word to reflection on personal, family, church, and community concerns. Teaching is shared by seven members so you have a different teacher each week for seven weeks. This is a very caring group that gives support to members in need and to individuals and groups in the community. This class consists of members aged 50 to 80, and the class size is around 50 each Sunday.
