Denver UMC is only as strong as it's volunteer base.  We believe that one of the main goals of discipleship is to not only be discipled, but to disciple others through your service.  There is truly no other way to grow closer to Christ than in following His example by serving others.  Some of our areas of ministry that utilize volunteers are:

Administrative
We need volunteers to help answer phones, meet visitors to the office and general receptionist duties. We also need volunteers to help weekly by folding bulletins and monthly by folding newsletters. You can help as much or as little as possible. Volunteers needed for general office and communication help.

Pre-K Ministries
We need volunteers to help in all areas of our Pre-K ministries. Volunteers needed for nursery, Sunday School & Children's Church.

G-Force Children's Ministries
We need volunteers to help in all areas of our G-Force Children's Ministries. We need teachers, people to check-in our children, actors, music leaders and group facilitators. Volunteers needed for Sunday School, G-Force Worship & Wednesday evening program.

Solar Youth Ministries
We need volunteers to help in all areas of our Solar Youth Ministries. We need teachers, leaders and chaperones. Volunteers needed for Sunday School, weekly programming & special events.

Outreach Ministries
We need volunteers to help in all areas of our Outreach Ministries. We need volunteers to help both regurally and for special outreach ministries. Volunteers needed for all our outreach ministries.

Worship Opportunities

Music Opportunities
We need volunteers to share their musical gifts with the congregation. Be sure to visit the Music Opportunities page for more details. Volunteers can serve in various ways through their gift of music.

Children's Consignment Sale
We need volunteers to set-up, break-down, assist with the sale itself and any other assistance you can provide. This even is held twice per year and is a ministry of the Genesis Sunday School class. Volunteers are needed to help with this event in the spring and fall.

Weekly Prayer Ministry Team
We need volunteers to pray for the church and her prayer concerns daily and meet each Thursday morning to join together with others in prayer. Volunteers can serve by meeting each Thursday morning for prayer.

Media Center
We need volunteers to help in various ways to help maintain our Media Center, located on the first floor of the Wesley Administrative Building. Volunteers can serve in various ways in our Media Center.
